This charming, colorful city is the capital of the Tyrol province and
host to two Winter Olympics. Explore its enchanting medieval buildings,
quaint cobbled streets and marvel at the Golden Roof, the symbol of
Innsbruck. Visit Ambras Castle, spectacularly situated above Innsbruck
in its own private gardens. Admire its splendid collection of paintings,

SALZBURG
One of Europe's most beautiful cities, Salzburg is admired not only
for its medieval architecture and historic monuments, but also for its
superb setting on the river Salzach. Explore the colorful ancient city
center with its graceful squares, cobbled streets and classical buildings,
including the 17th century Cathedral with its magnificent baroque architecture.
Stroll through the lovely Mirabell Gardens and into the Getreidegasse,
the city's historical main thoroughfare where Mozart was born. Approximate

MUNICH
& DACHAU
Dachau, infamous for having been a WWII concentration camp, is now a
memorial to those who died there. Explore the site that now contains
a permanent exhibition and several other structures associated with
the camp. Continue to Munich, the world famous cultural capital of Bavaria.
At its heart lies the lively Marienplatz with its impressive Gothic
Town Hall dominating the skyline. Visit this famous landmark and Frauenkirche
Cathedral with its signature onion-domed towers, as well as the beautiful

BERCHTESGADEN
& THE EAGLES NEST
Spectacular alpine scenery abounds as we journey through the Bavarian
Alps and follow the lovely Konigsee River as far as Unterau, where we
begin our ascent to Obersalzberg, Hitler's mountain retreat. Experience
an exciting elevator ride up through the mountain to the Eagle's Nest,
for breathtaking views of some of the most spectacular landscapes in
the Bavarian Alps. Continue to delightful Berchtesgaden, with its beautiful

CASTLE
HERRENCHIEMSEE
Herrenchiemsee is often called the "Bavarian Versailles" as
it was intended to be a replica of the magnificent Versailles Palace
in Paris. The castle was built by King Ludwig II on an island on Chiemsee,
Bavaria's largest lake. A short ferry ride from Prien brings you to
this incredible castle, with its luxurious furnishings and elaborate
interior, including a remarkable replica of the famous Hall of Mirrors
in Versailles. This fairy-tale castle is sure to enchant you!
