Take part in this exciting two destination holiday to Italy. From the Italian Riviera, you are ideally positioned to head east and west on a discovery tour of this diverse coastline. The Italian Riviera is renowned for its fine sandy beaches, sparkling seas, cosmopolitan resorts, traditional Italian hospitality and not forgetting the delicious ice cream! Sheltered by the Ligurian Alps, the coastal region benefits from a warm climate and equally warm waters, providing the perfect environment for a memorable visit.

Tuscany is a region infused with good fortune: a generously temperate climate and an untold wealth of artistic treasures await you. Immerse yourself amid the unspoiled beauty of Tuscany with its shaded olive groves punctuated by tall cypresses, parasol pines and bright green rows of vineyards.

Montecatini Terme best known of all Italian spas is ideally located between Pisa and Florence in the colorful Tuscan hills. In the 20th century, it drew such luminaries as Gary Cooper, Rose Kennedy, and Gabriel D' Annunzio. This modern town of tree-lined avenues offers a variety of fashionable shops, cafes and restaurants. The pleasures and fascinations of Montecatini are inexhaustible and yours to explore!

Optional Excursions

FROM San Remo, ITALIAN RIVIERA

MONTE CARLO, MONACO - Monte Carlo lies within the tiny Principality of Monaco - a wealthy enclave rising from the rocks above the Mediterranean. Prince Rainier and the Royal family's heritage embellish the aristocratic charm and dignity of one of the smallest countries in the world. The Casino, Prince Rainier's palace, and the yacht-filled harbor make Monte Carlo unique in
world society.

NICE, ST. PAUL DE VENCE AND GRASSE - Visit Nice, the capital of the French Riviera, with its famous Promenade des Anglais and palm tree-lined Baie des Anges. Experience the glamour and sophistication of this resort city before continuing to the medieval hilltop village of St. Paul de Vence, an enclave for artists and one of the most beautiful villages in Provence. The day culminates with a visit to the town of Grasse, the world's capital in perfume production.

A TASTE OF ANCIENT ITALY - Explore the charming, ancient village of Dolceacqua before enjoying a traditional Ligurian meal in the congenial surroundings of a local trattoria.

INCLUDED Scenic TRANSFER
Travel via the ancient maritime city of Pisa. Visit the Field of Miracles, home to some of the splendid buildings that recall Pisa's past grandeur, the famous Leaning Tower, medieval Cathedral and ornate Baptistery.

FROM Montecatini, TUSCANY

FLORENCE - Birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence is celebrated the world over for its magnificent art treasures. For a flavor of this remarkable city, see the magnificent Academy of Fine Arts and spectacular “David” by Michelangelo, the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and the breathtaking view from Piazzale Michelangelo; then Giotto's Campanile and the majestic Cathedral and Baptistery with its renowned bronze doors by Ghiberti. Florence is a feast for the senses and yours to explore.

THE SPLENDOR OF TUSCANY - Explore the glorious Tuscan countryside of poplar-studded landscapes, dramatic hilltop towns and vineyards, calling first at charming Siena, a medieval city rich in artistic heritage.
